We have a large variety of animals ranging from a mouse to a shire horse and from a tortoise to a turkey! We encourage children to feed and pet the animals provided care is taken and they are accompanied by adults. There are always new baby animals arriving on the farm – lambs, foals, ducklings to name but a few. In the spring, children love helping to bottle feed the lambs.

Our outdoor play area comes complete with a bouncy barn, trampolines and other activity equipment suitable for children up to the age of 12. The indoor play area is perfect for inclement weather and provides sand trays and pedal tractors for the younger children.

We are extremely proud of our well equipped schoolroom which can be used by visiting school parties for educational activities. This room doubles as an activity barn and contains other farm related activities such as small world role play, jigsaw puzzles and books, available to all visitors when there are no school parties present.

On Family Fun Days during the summer, special activities are arranged; these include scarecrow making, face painting and vegetable planting. In Summer 2007 look out for shire horse and cart rides around the Farm Park, and the opening of the Lakeside Walk.
