Doddington Hall & Gardens

Doddington Hall is a wonderful Elizabethan house just outside Lincoln . It has never been sold and is still very much a family home which is why it's such fun to visit! It is full of fun for all ages; you can be guided around the house by past inhabitants such as the infamous Sir Francis Delaval with our free and amusing audio-guides; there's the Unicorn Quest, a special trail for children to follow through the house with things to spot, rubber stamps to collect and a prize at the end.

The beautiful gardens are full of surprises too; there's a turf maze to get lost in, a ‘dinosaur's egg' hidden in one of the trees, lots of space to run around and play hide-and-seek, and afterwards there's lovely teas to look forward to.

Doddington has won awards for the facilities for disabled visitors too. There's access to the gardens for disabled visitors, sensory tours for visually impaired visitors and special facilities for those who cannot get top the upper floors of the Hall.

Award winning facilities for disabled visitors (please contact Estate Office for details). Doddington Hall is signposted clearly off the A46 Lincoln Bypass and the A57.
